Meet Your Amusement Park Travel Specialist
I’m Will, and I’ll be leading this new focus on theme park travel at The Good Life Travel Company. Theme parks have been part of my travels for as long as I can remember, especially Walt Disney World. I visit multiple times a year and have stayed at nearly every Walt Disney World Resort, giving me firsthand experience with the many different ways a Disney vacation can come together.
My travels have also taken me to Disneyland Resort, Disneyland Paris, Aulani, and aboard Disney Cruise Line. Over the years, I have spent a great deal of time learning about Disney destinations around the world. I am also a huge Universal fan and have explored its parks, resorts, and vacation experiences.
That interest extends well beyond Disney and Universal. I have visited theme parks throughout Europe, and one of my favorite parts of traveling is discovering parks that many travelers may not even realize are out there. Across the United States and around the world, there are incredible theme park destinations that can become the centerpiece of a vacation or a memorable addition to a larger trip.
There Is No “Right” Way to Do a Theme Park Vacation
One of the biggest things all of that experience has taught me is that there really is no single right way to experience a theme park.
Social media is full of must-dos, perfect itineraries, and strategies that can make it feel like there is one correct way to visit Disney or Universal. In reality, what works perfectly for one family might make absolutely no sense for another.
The best resort, park strategy, dining plan, or ticket option depends on how you like to travel and what matters most to you. My job is not to hand everyone the same checklist. It is to figure out what you want from your vacation and build the trip around that.
The Little Details Matter Too
Sometimes the really specific questions can make just as much difference as the big ones.
Which hotel is actually right for your family? How do you avoid the swarm of people leaving Magic Kingdom after Happily Ever After? When should you try to ride Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry at Epic Universe without giving up a huge part of your day to the line? Which bathrooms in the parks offer a little more privacy?
Those are exactly the kinds of details I enjoy helping with.
Let Me Handle the Complicated Part
Disney and Universal vacations have a lot of moving parts. Dining reservations, Lightning Lanes, Express Passes, transportation, resort choices, special experiences, and park strategies can quickly turn something exciting into something stressful.
You should not have to become a theme park expert just to take a vacation.
My job is to take care of those details, help you understand what is actually worth your time and money, and make sure your trip fits the way you want to travel. Sometimes that means knowing what to prioritize. Other times, it means knowing what you can comfortably skip.
By the time your vacation arrives, I want the complicated part to already be taken care of so you can focus on actually enjoying where you are.
